- Select WAN/LAN as a port pair.
- To enable the interface, forAdmin Up, selectYes.
- (Optional)Enter a description.
- Interface Typedisplays the selected WAN/LAN bypass pair.
- ForHardware Relay – Fail to Wire, selectYesto get fail-to-wire functionality.
- ForUse These Ports For, selectPrivate WAN.
- ForCircuit Label, select the circuit label that corresponds to your private WAN connection for this site.
- SelectEnable IPv6 On This Interfaceto configure IPv6.
- ForIPv6 Configuration, selectDHCPorStatic.ChooseDHCPif the IP address is dynamically assigned.ChooseStaticif the IP address is fixed and is manually assigned. Additionally specify theIPv6 Address/Mask,Default Gateway(IPv6), andDNS server(s)(IPv6).
- ForAttached Networks, enter the router’s VLAN ID and IP address.You may enter multiple VLAN IDs and IP addresses.
- SelectNetwork Contextif this is a subnet and you would like to segment one subnet for which you would like to define a separate policy. For example, guest Wi-Fi.
- SelectLocalorGlobal.Select Local when defining an IP subnet that is not advertised to any other site.Select Global when defining an IP subnet that is advertised to everyPrisma SD-WANsite.Prisma SD-WANdoes not control traffic if a prefix/subnet is not defined on the ION device.
- Save Bypass Pair.
- Optionally configure Routing, SNMP Config, Syslog Export, and NTP Client.
- ClickSave.
