Manage Capacity Analyzer Alerts
Learn how to manager the capacity analyzer alerts.

Capacity Analyzer uses machine learning
models to anticipate resource consumption nearing its maximum capacity and raise
alerts. The Capacity Analyzer alerts are generated in
advance identifying potential capacity bottlenecks.
You can also create a notification rule to trigger
notifications for the capacity analyzer alerts.
- Navigate to Incidents & Alerts > NGFW > All Alerts and click List View.Under Alert Name, search for approaching max alerts.The alerts raised for the Capacity Analyzer feature are named as:Approaching Max Capacity - <Metric-Name>.

Select one of the alerts to view its details that include:- Summary of the alert with details.
- Impact caused by the alert.
- Recommended action to fix your issue.

In the alert details, you can also view a graph that shows the trend for the metric. Strata Cloud Manager forecasts the date when the metric will hit the maximum capacity. You can hover your cursor over the graph to check the metric capacity at any specific point of time. You can select a Prediction Time for the next 30 days or 90 days.In this example, you can see that the VPN Tunnels metric on the device will hit maximum capacity on Nov 5, 2023.![]()
From the Alerts page, you can Go to Capacity Analyzer Page to view the Capacity Analyzer heatmap.![]()
