Download the Prisma Access Agent Package

Learn how to download the Prisma Access Agent package for deployment to your endpoints.

After you set up the infrastructure and configured the agent, download the Prisma Access Agent package so that you can deploy it to your mobile users' endpoints using third-party mobile device management (MDM) software.

In addition, ensure that you download the configuration file. Your agent configurations, along with the Prisma Access tenant ID and the server URL for the service that manages Prisma Access Agents, are saved to the Prisma Access Agent configuration file and will be deployed to your endpoints for use during agent installation.

Download the Prisma Access Agent package and configuration file.
1. From Strata Cloud Manager, select ConfigurationEndpoint Management.
2. Click Download Agent.
3. Download the configuration file and the appropriate agent for your operating system.
  (Linux) Linux Prisma Access Agents are available in ARM64 and x86_64 architectures. If you are downloading the agent for NixOS, make sure to download both the Linux distribution and NixOS configuration file for your architecture. Each package description describes the package contents.
  
  ARM64 Linux distributions — AppImage file for the supported ARM64 Linux distributions. Downloadable package name: PrismaAccessAgent_arm64_<version>.AppImage
  ARM64 Linux NixOS configuration file (required for agent installation) — tar.gz file containing the NixOS installer script and Prisma Access Agent NixOS configuration file for ARM64 Linux distributions. Downloadable package name: paa_nixos_installer_<version>.tar.gz
  x86_64 Linux distributions — AppImage file for the supported x86_64 Linux distributions. Downloadable package name: PrismaAccessAgent_x86_64_<version>.AppImage
  x86_64 Linux NixOS configuration file (required for agent installation) — tar.gz file containing the NixOS installer script and Prisma Access Agent NixOS configuration file for x86_64 Linux distributions. Downloadable package name: paa_nixos_installer_<version>.tar.gz
4. After you download the package, Close the download dialog. The agent package is saved to the download location on your computer.
(Optional) If needed, modify the Prisma Access Agent deployment configuration to update the Prisma Access tenant ID, server URL, or other agent configurations.

The changes you make will override the default value for the tenant ID, the configured values for the server URL, and other agent settings.
(macOS and Windows) Proceed to deploy the Prisma Access Agent package using MDM software:

- Windows agents
For Linux agents, share the Prisma Access Agent package using alternative distribution methods within your organization.
