Cloud Service Migration for Advanced DNS Security

Palo Alto Networks has introduced and migrated a new cloud service location for Advanced DNS Security.
To improve regional performance and localized connectivity in the Middle East, Palo Alto Networks is migrating its cloud infrastructure for Advanced DNS Security. The existing Bahrain region is being decommissioned and replaced with a new service region in Qatar, using the following FQDN: dns-qat.service.paloaltonetworks.com. This infrastructure move to the Google Cloud Platform ensures that your network maintains high-performance security resolution while benefiting from updated regional endpoints.
Advanced DNS Security leverages this expanded infrastructure to deliver real-time protection against sophisticated DNS-based threats. By transitioning to the Qatar cloud region, you can optimize your connection to Palo Alto Networks cloud-delivered security services and ensure your security posture remains robust with localized traffic processing. This migration provides access to efficient cloud infrastructure without disruption to your existing protections or the need for manual traffic adjustments.
