Known Issues in the Panorama Software Firewall License Plugin 1.0.0
The following list describes known issues
in the Panorama Software Firewall License plugin 1.0.0.
PLUG-7674
When viewing the Bootstrap Parameters
under License Managers, Panorama might display the private IP address.
Workaround: When copying information from Show Bootstrap
Parameters, do no copy the value for panorama-server-2. When creating
an init-cfg.txt file, enter the Panorama IP address manually.
PLUG-7538
The Show Devices dialog displays VM-Series
firewalls not bootstrapped using the Panorama Software Firewall
License plugin.
PLUG-7469
After deactivating the license of a VM-Series
firewall, those licenses might still show as connected or disconnected.
PLUG-7489
The Bootstrap Definition name is limited
to 31 characters or fewer.
PLUG-7377
When a firewall is deactivated by the
Panorama Software Firewall License plugin but physically present,
it keeps connecting to Panorama with unknown serial
in connected state. The plugin learns this and displays it under PanoramaSW Firewall LicenseLicense ManagersShow Devices.
Fixed in Panorama Software Firewall Licensing Plugin 1.1.1.

Bootstrapping the VM-Series firewall
on Microsoft Azure through the Panorama Software Firewall License
plugin fails.

If VM-Series firewall, which was previously
licensed through the Panorama Software Firewall License plugin,
is delicensed and licensed again on the firewall using a new and
valid auth code, the VM-Series firewall shows as Partially Deactivated
under PanoramaManaged
Devices.

The Remove Config (PanoramaPlugins) operation fails when
executed for the Panorama Software Firewall License plugin on a
secondary Panorama peer.

If you configure an invalid authcode
when configuring a license manager, the VM-Series firewall will
be deployed but not licensed. Additionally, no error message is
presented in Panorama and the firewall will not be listed under PanoramaSW Firewall LicenseLicense ManagersShow Devices.
