Known Issues in the Panorama Software Firewall License Plugin 1.1.3
The following list describes known issues in the Panorama Software Firewall License
plugin 1.1.3.
PLUG-17566
A display issue is observed when bootstrap parameters in the Software Firewall
Plugin License Manager fail to display the “panorama-server="
parameter.
Workaround: Obtain the primary panorama ip-address from show system
info.
PLUG-13876
It is observed that delicensed VM-Series firewalls continue to have the license number
following a boot up.
PAN-207002
If you deactivate a VM-Series firewall
through the Software Firewall Licensing plugin, all other listed
firewalls show a status of Disconnected. However, after five to
ten minutes, the firewall status returns to Connected.
PLUG-7469
After deactivating the license of a VM-Series
firewall, those licenses might still show as connected or disconnected.
PLUG-7367
Bootstrapping the VM-Series firewall
on Microsoft Azure through the Panorama Software Firewall License
plugin fails.
PLUG-6596
If VM-Series firewall, which was previously
licensed through the Panorama Software Firewall License plugin,
is delicensed and licensed again on the firewall using a new and
valid auth code, the VM-Series firewall shows as Partially Deactivated
under PanoramaManaged
Devices.
PLUG-13521
In Panorama HA with software firewall licensing plugin 1.1.1, it is observed that
autoscaling to Panorama fails, as the bootstrapping (licensing and registration)
parameters fail to synchronise from primary to secondary, when the secondary Panorama is
active.
Workaround: To support autoscaling on HA Panoramas, setup HA before configuring
SWFW license plugin.
PAN-164852
The Remove Config (PanoramaPlugins) operation fails when
executed for the Panorama Software Firewall License plugin on a
secondary Panorama peer.
PAN-164164
If you configure an invalid authcode
when configuring a license manager, the VM-Series firewall will
be deployed but not licensed. Additionally, no error message is
presented in Panorama and the firewall will not be listed under PanoramaSW Firewall LicenseLicense ManagersShow Devices.
