Learn about the new features that became available in SaaS Security starting January 2022.
The following table provides a snapshot of new features introduced for SaaS Security in January 2022. Refer to the Administrator’s Guide for more information on how to use SaaS Security API and SaaS Security Inline.
Prisma SaaS is now SaaS Security API. However, you will still see Prisma SaaS in some of the SaaS Security API documentation screenshots until we apply this change throughout the documentation.

New data patterns for Enterprise DLP and SaaS Security DLP.
Enterprise DLP now includes 56 new data patterns and 5 new data profiles. New data patterns include PCI data patterns for full bank account numbers, routing numbers localized in various countries (Australia, Canada, parts of Europe, China, and Japan), IBAN numbers, CCNs for various credit card types (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).
Cortex XSOAR integration
SaaS Security API is now available on the Cortex XSOAR Marketplace. With this integration, Cortex XSOAR collects incidents from SaaS Security API for improved security orchestration and incident management and remediation of risks posed by data exfiltration on your organization’s Sanctioned SaaS applications.
SaaS Security Inline Enhancements for Cloud Managed Prisma Access
SaaS Security Inline for Cloud Managed Prisma Access now includes Application Dictionary and Policy Recommendations for a centralized view of network and CASB security from a single console. SaaS Security Inline offers SaaS visibility—advanced analytics and reporting—so that your organization has the insights to understand the data security risks of sanctioned and unsanctioned SaaS application usage on your network.
