Monitor Incidents

Lets see on how to Monitor, acknowledge and synchronize the incidents in Prisma SD-WAN. You can acknowledge the incidents and synchronize the incidents between the controller and the device.

When incidents are generated on the Prisma SD-WAN due to some failure, you can acknowledge the incidents and synchronize the incidents between the controller and the device. You can create an event policy to manage the event code suppression based on the specified classifications and action attributes configured.
Acknowledge generated incidents in the system on the Strata Cloud Manager. Acknowledge indicates that you are aware of the incident but may not take any action on the incident at this point in time. You acknowledge only unresolved incidents. Acknowledging an incident enables you to display and focus on incidents that require your attention.
  1. Select Incidents & AlertsIncidents.
    The Incidents are displayed.
  2. Select one or more incident to Acknowledge it.
    By default the acknowledged incidents disappear from the page.

Synchronize Incidents

You can synchronize incidents consistently between the controller and the device. During the incidents synchronization, the device sends standing incident snapshots to the controller every 24 hours and the controller clears the incidents that no longer exist in the device and raises the device's missing incidents.
  1. Go to WorkflowsDevices.
    The list of claimed devices is displayed.
  2. From the ellipsis menu next to a device, select Sync Incident to synchronize the incidents between the controller and the device.
